Melissa Sarsfield, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) in 2005, graduating with Honors Society recognition. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Cell and Molecular Biology from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania in 2000.

Originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Dr. Sarsfield has built her career in primary care optometry, where she is passionate about patient education and preventative ocular disease management. She values clear communication as a vital part of the care she provides, and her dedication to helping patients understand their eye health is driven by a genuine love for her profession and a deep commitment to improving lives through vision care. As part of her professional growth, she is now expanding her focus to include a broader range of medical eye care services, allowing her to provide even more comprehensive care to meet the diverse needs of her patients.
